Thanks for choosing us as your moving planner. With dedicated service, your shipment travels on a truck reserved for you, on the dates we agree to together. That gives you clearer timing and fewer handoffs. Here’s how the process usually feels from start to finish.

Right after booking (within one business day)

We go over your details, confirm your estimate type and valuation choice, and send your Order for Service for e-signature. If your building needs certificates of insurance, elevator reservations, or parking permits, we collect that now so everything is ready.

In the days leading up to pickup

We introduce you to the licensed carrier team assigned to your move and share their MC/DOT information, proof of insurance, and your confirmed pickup date and arrival window. If there’s anything about access that could affect timing, like a steep driveway or a long walk, we talk it through ahead of time so you know what to expect.

Pickup day

The crew does a quick walk-through with you, protects floors and doorways, and begins loading. An inventory is created as items go on the truck. Because this is a dedicated move, your belongings stay on the same shipment rather than being combined with other households.

While your shipment is on the road

Your truck heads directly toward your destination based on the schedule we set together. We check in with you about progress and confirm the delivery date and time window. If weather or traffic suggests an adjustment, we let you know right away and set a new window that still works for your plans.

Delivery of your move

We coordinate the final arrival window with you and with any building requirements. The crew unloads, places items in the rooms you choose, and handles basic reassembly that’s included in your plan. Before they leave, you’ll have a moment to look things over and ask questions.

About access and extra services

Sometimes a full-size truck can’t get close to the home because of narrow streets, low clearances, or HOA rules. In those cases, a smaller shuttle truck may be used to bridge the last stretch. A long carry can apply when the distance from the truck to your door is beyond what’s included. Elevators, extra flights of stairs, and permit requirements can also add time. When we see any of these coming, we flag them early and explain the options.

Valuation and Claims

Every interstate move includes basic Released Value protection (60¢ per pound). Many customers choose Full Value Protection for broader coverage; if you selected it, you’ll see it on your confirmation. If something needs attention at delivery, make a note on the paperwork, take a few photos, and tell us. Your planner will coordinate the claim with the carrier and keep you updated until it’s resolved.
