Cancel Within 72 Hours – Full Refund (Minus Merchant Fee)
- Cancel within 72 hours of booking and receive a full refund of your deposit.
- Only a 10% credit card merchant processing fee is deducted.
- This applies regardless of how far in the future your move is scheduled.
- Exception: If you booked within 5 days of your first available pickup date, see the next section.
After the Bill of Lading Is Signed – A 3-Day Grace Period
- After signing the Bill of Lading, you have 3 business days to cancel in writing.
- Full refund of your deposit still applies within this period.
- Protected under federal law (49 CFR § 375.505(h)).
- To cancel, email us and we’ll process your refund promptly.
Outside the Refund Window – What Happens?
- If you cancel after the 72-hour window or beyond the 3-day grace period, the deposit is typically non-refundable.
- We’re happy to work with you to find a fair solution.
- Options may include partial refund, compromise, or applying your deposit to a future move.
Use Your Deposit for a Future Move – Up to 12 Months
- You can apply 100% of your deposit to a future move if plans change.
- Valid for up to 12 months from your original reservation date.
- Just call us when you’re ready — no penalties or hassle.
